Surat Al Falaq: Tafseer for Kids

Surah Al-Falaq, or “The Daybreak”, is the 113th chapter of the Quran. It is a short surah with five verses, seeking protection from various types of evil. The surah is often recited for protection from the evil of all created beings, the darkness of the night, those who practice witchcraft, and the envy of others.

This surah is such an important Surah that the Prophet, May Allah’s Peace and Blessings be Upon Him said,

“Whoever recites these three times in the morning and in the evening, they will suffice him (as a protection) against everything”
reported by Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi
